And it’s finally here! First, I just wanted to say thank you! Truly! Thank you to all of you who have supported my journey into this rabbit hole called laser engraving canvases, MDF, stones, plywood, you name it. I feel there is nothing this laser can’t engrave. As you know, I have been pretty excited to share my findings with you on Facebook and your questions, and encouragement, inspired me to put together this video for you. In this, part 4 of my quest in to laser engraving perfection, I am sharing with you the “secrets” I have been able to gather in the 2 months long adventure. 2 months? well, perhaps 7 weeks for those keeping track! As you will see, we will spend more time in front of the computer rather than in the shop. This is because this video is more focused on what I do on the digital side of the engraving. Don’t get me wrong, I will spend time talking about the canvas itself, the color I use and more. The difference is that the bigger portion of the video will be me talking about my process, my settings, the editing and so on. Oh! And towards the end of the video, I will share a little surprise with you! It is incredible to see what the machine can do and equality incredible is how much the canvas can take! Let’s say this canvas has gone through some changes itself in the last 7 weeks 🙂
This is, I believe, my last video in this series. I think I have covered it all and share with you everything I know. I am tempted to do one more video talking about other things I have been able to engrave. I thought about making that video my number 4 in the series but it was going to be a very short one, and from your feedback, you wanted to see more of the software side of the engraving. I tell you what, if you want to see a short video with the other materials I have been engraving, let me know in the comments and I will tally up the feed and will let you know. I think this is the best approach. Oh! Many of you have seen my wall of fame. You will see it in the video as well. Let me know what you think! I posted a few pictures in Facebook and people have been asking me about it. I made the wall using the “French Cleat” setup and I love it. I have use the same system to hang my tools and other accessories in my shop and when I was thinking of my wall of fame, the “French Cleat” came to the rescue! If you want to see a video on how I made my wall of fame, let me know in the comments. I have plenty of things to say about the process and the actual setup and I would love to share that with you! Once again, thank you very much for all the great support you guys have been giving me. It means the world and I am so happy we have been able to connect like this. If you want to follow me on Facebook, find me as @mysevernabuilds or check my posts in the various laser related groups! That’s it for me, for now! I hope you enjoy this new video and please give me your feedback! So long!
